Watched the show on Wednesday with the girls and cried buckets.

The movie was so much better than the book (although the reviews on GV.com.sg said otherwise). Personally, I’ve read the book and watched the movie. I prefer the movie.

The book was a bit dry, I read it like last year and I’ve already forgotten the ending. Until Ting told me that the movie ending was different from the book ending.

Haha.

But it’s still good, very touching and very heart wrenching. A mother who doesn’t want to give up fighting and a daughter who has had enough. The sister who tries to help but shoulders the hurt and pain on herself.

The brother is the worst off, in this situation, being the middle child. Completely neglected and feeling totally helpless.

Sigh. Extremely sad.

Go watch it, but bring lots of tissues and don’t be afraid to sob.

Because others will be sobbing with you.
